Foot surgery

Foot surgery at Galeria Medical Center focuses on treating painful conditions, deformities and instabilities from the toes to the ankle joint. The most common problems are bunions, toe deformities, joint osteoarthritis or pain in the heel or Achilles tendon. An important part of treatment is careful diagnostics, which will allow us to choose the appropriate procedure - from conservative therapy to surgery.
We primarily use modern minimally invasive techniques that are gentler on soft tissues, allow for faster healing, less pain after the procedure, and a faster return to movement. We treat not only common orthopedic diagnoses, but also the consequences of injuries or chronic overload, including ligament reconstructions or adjustments to foot position. All with an emphasis on long-term results and an individual approach to the patient.
What do we operate on most often?
We specialize in surgical treatment of painful conditions and foot deformities. We use modern techniques that allow for gentle procedures with rapid healing and a return to full mobility.
Contact usHallux valgus
A bunion causes deformity of the forefoot, pain, and difficulty walking. Surgery corrects the position of the joint, improving both the function and appearance of the foot.
Hallux rigidus
Stiffness and pain in the thumb joint during movement indicate degenerative changes. Surgical treatment restores mobility and removes painful restrictions.
Instep pain
Pain in the instep area can be related to overload, deformities or osteoarthritis. With targeted intervention, we relieve chronic pain and improve foot stability.
Toe deformities
Twisted or hammertoes often cause pain, pressure, and limitations. We surgically correct the position of the toes and ensure their better function.
Ankle joint instability
Repeated ankle sprains or a feeling of unsteadiness when walking indicate loosening of the ligaments. Surgery stabilizes the joint and prevents further injuries.
Flatfooted
A lowered arch of the foot can lead to pain and overload. In the case of significant deformity, we choose a surgical solution that restores the correct position of the foot.
Heel and Achilles tendon pain
We treat inflammation, growths, or overloading of the heel and Achilles tendon conservatively and surgically - the goal is to relieve pain and restore function.
