Orthopedics

Orthopedics focuses on the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases of the musculoskeletal system - from joints to tendons to muscles and ligaments. At Galeria Medical Center, we provide comprehensive orthopedic care, including modern minimally invasive procedures that significantly shorten recovery time and spare surrounding tissues. We offer both outpatient examinations and surgical solutions to the most common problems - from knee, shoulder or ankle pain to degenerative changes or sports injuries.
We use the latest technologies, such as arthroscopy and nanoscopy, which enable us to accurately determine the cause of the problem and choose a gentle and effective treatment method. The goal is a quick return of the patient to movement, without pain, with an emphasis on the long-term effect of the treatment.
Arthroscopy
A modern, minimally invasive method that allows for precise diagnosis and treatment of joints using small instruments and a camera inserted directly into the joint cavity. It is most often performed under general or local anesthesia on the knee, shoulder, and other locations. The procedure spares surrounding tissues and speeds up recovery.
Contact usKnee arthroscopy
We use arthroscopy to treat damaged menisci - we perform their suturing, stabilization or reconstruction. We also perform cruciate ligament replacements, patella stabilization and treatment of lateral ligaments. A common procedure is also surgery on damaged articular cartilage.
Shoulder arthroscopy
In the shoulder joint, we primarily address instability after dislocation, pain associated with osteoarthritis, or rotator cuff injuries, the injuries of which we reconstruct surgically. We also treat subacromial bursitis or frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis) arthroscopically.
Arthroscopy of other locations
Arthroscopy is also used in other areas - it allows for the diagnosis and removal of heel spurs, calcaneal deposits, loose articular bodies or arthritic growths. We also perform procedures for Haglund's exostosis, Achilles tendon tendinosis or damage to the articular cartilage in the foot.
Nanoscopy
A non-invasive procedure performed under local anesthesia without the need for hospitalization. Nanoscopy uses miniature optics inserted directly into the joint with a thin needle. It allows for accurate and rapid diagnosis and minor procedures without the need for general anesthesia - the patient goes home immediately after the procedure.
Contact usKnee nanoscopy
Using nanotechnology, we perform precise diagnostics of the extent of damage to the articular surfaces, ligaments and menisci. We examine the stability of the patella and the ligamentous apparatus of the knee, and during the procedure we can treat minor cartilage damage, suture the meniscus or remove articular bodies, adhesions and growths.
Nanoscopy of the foot
Ankle joint nanoscopy allows us to assess the condition of the joint surfaces, ligamentous structures and possible arthritic changes. We also remove growths or loose bodies and diagnose problems in the big toe or Achilles tendon area - all without the need for general anesthesia.
Hand nanoscopy
In the wrist area, nanoscopy is used to assess joint stability and diagnose carpal tunnel syndrome. The examination is quick, gentle, and does not require hospitalization – the patient can go home immediately after the procedure.
